[in] -- Trinitarian subsets
The doctrine of the Trinity claims that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Mathematicians define equality in terms of subsets. If A is B, then A is a subset of B and B is a subset of A. Let us apply this logic to the Trinitarian dogma.
God is a subset of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are also subsets of God.
Putting these two diagrams together we arrive at a startling conclusion. God is a proper subset of God!
This is a contradiction. A can never be a proper subset of A. Yet every single Church Father insists that this is the case. Are they completely delusional or do they know something we do not?
